9/29 Flight to Illinois Valley Regional Airport

 What a great day for flying, although Marginal VFR due to low cloud ceilings, we aimed for a clear spot and had a great flight.  Did maneuvers such as short field take off/landing, power off landing and go around/performance climb.  1.3 hrs flight time 4 takeoffs/landings.

Note:  Instructor did note that I was applying rudder corrections for wind gusts too aggressively, which I agreed makes no sense, a gradual application is all that is required.
